Will AI/ML be allowed to lower the cost of education?

AI/ML have the potential to compress the time and money needed for education, especially combined with virtual reality learning. Will special interests in the current system become a facilitator or a barrier to this trend and if so, will they be displaced and rendered obsolete? The current system public, private and intercompany all have room for drastic improvement. AI/ML have tremendous leverage for the best and brightest who embrace it, hopefully the current private, public and company training programs will embrace and refine these tools of literally geometric potential for improvement. Thoughts, comments and expansions sought and welcome. What companies will lead in these areas and create models for others?
