Dec 3 : Multiple divisions at Microsoft have lowered sales growth targets for certain artificial intelligence products after many sales staff missed goals in the fiscal year that ended in June, The Information reported on Wednesday.
It is rare for Microsoft to lower quotas for specific products, the report said, citing two salespeople in the Azure cloud unit.
Shares of the company fell around 2 per cent in premarket trading. Microsoft did not immediately respond to a Reuters request for comment.

I do not mind Copilot at all. It is actually great as a GitHub Copilot (I use it in VSCODE) but it is a well known fact that LLMs do great in software design. Their benefits in other fields are not as advanced (not yet). I think to a great degree it has to do with rudimentary integration. For example, LLMs are pretty good at document formatting but try doing it in, say, OneNote. It'll tell you that it does not have direct access to the OneNote content. One has to copy paste text from OneNote into OneNote's Copilot. This defeats the purpose. Direct access (if Copilot could do grammar checking, re-styling, formatting directly in the document) would be very useful.
