Have you observed that other IDM manufacturers such as Infineon and STM will also follow with price increases?

I have heard that TI has only raised prices for older generation products produced using the 8-inch process, while maintaining prices for new generation chips produced using the 12-inch process.

Texas Instruments Reportedly Launches Largest-Ever China Price Hike: 60K Products Up 10%–30%

Texas Instruments (TI) has introduced its largest-ever price hike for Chinese customers, raising prices by 10% to 30% on more than 60,000 products. While TI’s notice states that the new pricing will take effect on August 15, some Chinese customers report that the changes have already been implemented as of August 4, the report adds.

I have not observed industry broad price increases so far. From what I read TI raised the pricing for Mainland China because of import tariffs.
My assumption is this has to do with their high number of US-built products and their legal setup of how they deal with logistics for Chinese customers.

Additional input on this topic is appreciated.

STM are using new JV in China for some SIC products.
So using that to mitigate any potential prices rises for Chinese customers

You haven't seen STM's hikes. Some of mundane STM32 models went above $100 during COVID from distributors, while they normally sold for under $2, which would make it a 10000% price increase. And of course, STM try their best to keep the lock on those few clients who signed year long supply contracts at crazy prices.

I think what @Paul2 is describing was supply market during the pandemic. That was crazy for sure.
My understanding is Calla aims to understand more about the post-pandemic time. At least in theory supply has stabilized now.

Whatever they doing revenue is now back to pre-COVID levels of normality
