I was just wondering , given the tariffs situation now , is the merger deal still alive? Or would it be postponed etc? Anyone has any views ?

nothing public i think. But given the timing, this will be one of bargaining chips during negotiations ...

It has been more than a year so I wonder as well. I think it is a great acquisition and Synopsys has a great M&A team so I expected this to be done by now. Maybe China is interfering? Since they are both US companies I don't see the problem. Siemens acquired Altair in 5 months. Seriously, what is the hold up with Synopsys acquiring Ansys?
