Because (1) ChipAct subsidies for Intel/tsmc are settle down and (2) Intel is not the king now and needs ally.
In Computex, Nvidia: GPU is much more important than CPU. AMD/Qualcomm: Our CPU are much better than Intel's. Basically Intel is everyone's target in the Computex.
In terms of connections to suppliers, Jensen Huang is the super rock star now, he speaks good Taiwanese that TV news 24hr report which nightmarket/restaurant he goes to. He invites Taiwanese suppliers to local authentic restaurant, not fine dinning, so it's much easier to make connections. No need to mention how hot Nvidia is now so every company try to get connections with Jensen.
If Pat does not consolidate Intel's ally, the priority of Intel's projects in these suppliers would become lower.
First of all, Intel's future success and its entering foundry sector is a must for US long-term benefit and a key component of the national strategic reset. Take this insight into our picture, we should be aware that this is no more a pure "market" (yield or time-to-market, etc.) competition/decision, either from technology or economy point of view, and it's very clear what will happen soon. The death of Moore's Law in 10-15 years, has been reteatedly said since 40 years ago, but it never happened. What Huang said regarding Moore's Law was just trying to catch people's eyeballs, but unfortunately, he used a wrong example. Moore's Law won't be limited by the horizontal scaling and can go vertically. There is no doube Intel'll will retake the leading position once they move away from shadow of their former CEOs. It may be a good time to buy Intel stocks once the most difficult time is passed.

On the other hand Intel and Pat Gelsinger still acted like a king and asked partners to say something nice about Intel. It's Intel centric and lacking the elements of emotion and passion.
Nvidia's video wants people feel "You ~ Nvidia's partners" are making this whole thing possible. Nvidia's Computex keynote video production is a great example about the best practice of the corporate communication.

People definitely can feel it. Even Pat tried to say good words like "IT" means Intel and Taiwan (then AI means America and Intel?), from what I saw on the internet, 100% Taiwanese do not buy in what Pat said and just laugh.

Intel always likes to invent new acronyms and use acronyms, instead of plain language (in English or Chinese). Jensen Huang arrived Taiwan on May 26 and delivered his Computex keynote speech on June 2 at an offsite indoor stadium. The Computex actually stared two days later on June 4. In between Jensen was strolling Taipei's night market and restaurants. He even hosted a dinner at a local restaurant with all Taiwan top partners. All are under public eyes and news media's constant coverage.
Pat Gelsinger is like a royal figure, arrived, said something elegantly, then left before you can feel or see something more.

Intel's Pat Gelsinger questioned Taiwan's stability, while TSMC's Mark Liu questioned whether anyone will agree with Intel.

I wouldn't be surprised if most Taiwanese people don't buy what Pat said in the keynote and feel he's a clown. Plus "IT = Intel + Taiwan" is just pure cringe.
