Intel’s Arizona Expansion Marks Construction Milestone

This is impressive but it also feels a lot slower than how quickly Tesla is able to build Gigafactories. I’m assuming there are more levels to worry about with a chip fab than the car factories, and other complex requirements even before you get to electrical and chip making.

Watching these two new Intel fabs and TSMC Phoenix fabs construction videos, it seems they are very different in design and future operations.
