China is making the decision to not actively support Russia for it would isolate China from the tech sector which requires collaboration and cooperation with the tech of the western world for both technology and markets. The semi sector has changed the world and will continue to do so as demonstrated by the latest chips out of Nvidia and the uses they can be applied to. This is but one of thousands examples the tech sector is creating at an ever increasing rate. Collaboration and cooperation on ever more levels are the skill sets and strategies at ever increasing levels are the keys to success for individuals, companies and political constructs. This accelerating trend if broken will hurt everyone and no one will be immune.

The Ukraine conflict has shown the advantages of semiconductors. With tanks and armour at the mercy of anti-gay weapons and economic impact as well. No one wants to be left out.
