Company Summary

IN2FAB Technology is an independent EDA company specializing in IP migration and semiconductor IP security.

IN2FAB’s tools have completed hundreds of tapeouts for a worldwide customer base.

These include many of the world’s largest semiconductor companies, along with medium sized businesses and small IP boutiques.

IN2FAB has worked with all the major foundries and IDMs on technologies ranging from large legacy gate processes to nanometer SOI and FinFET.

IN2FAB is a long-term partner with Cadence for EDA technology and with Flexera on license security tools. The company also has a development partnership with universities for advanced technology, including AI.

Expertise

With decades of experience, deep industry knowledge and advanced automation tools, IN2FAB streamlines the complex process of circuit porting and migration, reducing design cycles and accelerating time to market.

Our expertise includes:

  • Automated Circuit Porting & Migration – Advanced tools to facilitate efficient adaptation of designs across different technology nodes and foundry processes.
  • Semiconductor Security Software – Robust solutions to safeguard PDKs and IP from unauthorized access, tampering, and reverse engineering.
  • Custom Migration Services – Tailored consulting and engineering support to ensure seamless integration and optimization of your semiconductor designs.

Capabilities

PDK Based Migration: IN2FAB’s OSIRIS migration technology has proven success in migration at scale across a wide range of technologies and process nodes. Layout centric porting is the only way to achieve rapid migration to new nodes and foundries.  IN2FAB is the only company with true layout migration.

Secure PDK: Secure PDK controls access to critical PDK elements, including Pcells, schematic symbols, CDF parameters and standard cells.  This addresses a critical vulnerability in foundry IP that leaves process and circuit data open to copying, reverse-engineering and outright theft.

Database Translation: IN2FAB has a series of database translators that import data from third party design systems into Cadence tools.  This software fully automates the transfer of complex databases in a single pass to standard databases and PDKs.

Migration PlatformMigration Platform: A dedicated team of engineers specializing in the transfer of analog and mixed-signal IP across different process nodes, foundries, and design platforms. Expert knowledge and services are delivered across the whole porting spectrum, from evaluation of potential foundries and processes to migration services, project management and IP delivery.

Migration Services: IN2FAB’s migration services group has ported hundreds of circuits for customers around the world.  These range from small IP cores to large and complex mixed signal circuits including wireless cores, SATA and MIPI.

Why IN2FAB

IN2FAB’s migration technology delivers strategic value by dramatically shortening development cycles while preserving critical design integrity.

IN2FAB provides a dedicated migration platform and engineering capability

that enables foundries, IDMs, fabless companies, and IP providers to:

  • Accelerate time to silicon
  • Extend the value and market reach of existing IP
  • Reduce the cost and risk of redesign
  • Expand IP libraries and enable new foundry business models

IN2FAB turns proven silicon into reusable, transferable IP—enabling faster innovation and greater flexibility across the semiconductor ecosystem.
