WW smartphone growth drops to single digits - paradoxically good news for Apple?

Typical marketing strategy, the products on the high-end fare better than the low-end during a slow down.

I even think that Apple could sell a premium-priced Android phone, why not?

I'm wondering how the Apple phone leasing program is going? I had thought it would be very popular in the US and flood the market with used smartphones for developing countries. Maybe the amount of people who buy phones every year are fewer that I thought. I will definitely do it when my contract runs out this month. My wife however does not want a new phone every year. She absolutely dreads changing phones.
