Broadcom stock fell in premarket trading on Friday with investors seemingly disappointed by its earnings.

As I understand this particular relationship, Google does the digital design, and Broadcom does the analog work.

The relationship started with the Avago ASIC group for the full chip (TPU v1). Today, as I understand it, Broadcom provides IP to Google (SERDES etc...) but Google does the full design.
