It looks like AWS is about to make the moves to dominate AI. They definitely have the power and resources to dominate AI/ML with their massive data centers resources. It looks like AWS could provide AI platforms for every market from households to major corporations, educational institutions and governments. This is one of the few areas that offer enough growth to continue Amazon's growth well into the future, built on top of their already massive data center services. Will AWS might even be able to a household utility available to anyone with easy to use interfaces? Could it become part of an automation ecosystem for a number of household and business systems and devices like Microsoft has dominated many ecosystems? If executed well this access to AI/ML could change everything in ways most can't even imagine. Apple is also in a position to compete in this contest with huge stakes, will they become the competition? If both entered the market competing AI/ML applications could advance at a blistering pace. Any thoughts or comments on this appreciated. Note, Amazon stock is up over 8% after hours.
