This device has been a godsend for the visually impaired and there is no doubt as semis get better this device and devices like it will be game-changers for millions of people. This is just a very early step and just like other semis progress the number and functionality of this device and similar devices will only improve. Tying devices of this type into a smartphone could greatly reduce the prices of devices of this type by using their processor and memory on top of accessing additional power and functions in the cloud. Eventually, most of us will become cyborgs as we all get older and need enhancements to function.
