Trust the most Valuable Asset, a Lesson for China

The cost of verifying Chinese equipment of all types, not just 5G, should be a bargaining point in China becoming a more responsible member of the international community. The cost of dealing with technology theft, counterfeiting and many other issues is an added tax in any dealings with China. It would be in everyone's interests that China become a fully responsible member of the international community. Trust is a very <msreadoutspan class="msreadout-line-highlight">valuable asset and something to not be squandered <msreadoutspan class="msreadout-word-highlight">lightly</msreadoutspan>. It's key for everything and becomes far more valuable as the complexity of the world increases. This is one of the many reasons Apple commands the market cap it does, in that in continually nurtures the trust and reputation it has built up over the years and is proven by the premium prices its products command. Trust has many levels and the more an organization, individual or political body has the better for everyone. This especially applies to the tech sector and TSMC is another shining example of this in becoming the world's largest foundry. Morris Chang established trust from inception and nurtured it carefully throughout the rise of TSMC and stated numerous times it was one of their key assets if not the key asset. Imagine just how much money and time this saved TSMC and their customers and suppliers. We have seen numerous times what the lack of trust can cost on all levels and it can make a cheap product the most costly choice in more ways than just what is thought of at first glance.
Trust is the foundation of prosperity and ALL including the Chinese who should treat it as the most valuable asset it is in everything from personal relationships to international political and business empires. This lack of trust has already cost the Chinese and parties they deal with dearly.

Trust is especially key to the semi sector where everything changes more rapidly and the complexity of projects involving many parties is key. Trust allows all parties to move far faster since they don't need to filter, defend and explain every action which creates these strong ecosystems that make up the foundation of the strongest parties in the tech sector.
