Steve Jobs helped make TSM after Samsung tried to burn Apple by copying much of the look and feel of the Apple ecosystem but fell short in many areas. Like Apple creating a large demand for high end semis by building an ecosystem that is highly intuitive, the future of semis will depend on others to build intuitive ecosystems that have the ability to radically cut learning time and ability to master numerous tasks. The tech world is still in the very early stages of setting up ecosystems to replace our costly in time and resources educational, training and application ecosystems as they currently exist. This harkens back to the Einstein quote of "Don't memorize anything you can look up" to make the most efficient use of time and reasoning abilities. Changing the very root structure of education were a few design superior ecosystems from medical to scientific to even military action to name just a few is where the future growth for semis of all types from sensors to memory to evaluating options and courses of action. The future in semis is in the ability to support and grow ecosystems that replace our current inefficient, slow and obsolete methods of education, training and application with vastly more time and resource efficient smart ecosystems that evolve on their own and constantly pick speed and utility the more they are used. The curated self-learning and adapting ecosystems have the ability to take progress and problem solving to same rate as advancing semi technology creating ecosystems that constantly learn and advance on their own through constant use. AI/ML is the future and we have barely touched the surface of the powers that lie in front of us right now. The ecosystem that Steve Jobs and others built is but a crude blueprint of what is yet to come. Semis and intelligent self-learning ecosystems are still in their early infancy. A bold new future with an almost unlimited horizon awaits, offering the new pioneers and mankind untold opportunities. Many will get in the way to protect their outdated, obsolete systems rather than advance because the lack the vision to participate in the greatest adventure of all. Any thoughts, comments or observations sought and appreciated.
