The future growth of the chip industry is AI/ML used to automate everything from robotics to the professions using intelligent platforms handled by data centers that can spread the cost of the processing, memory and software over the largest base possible with the best security. Medical with forty percent of a doctor's time spent on medical should be one of the main targets with medical in the US consuming four trillion a year for just a start. The Metaverse may be a part of this, but cartoon characters are out of the question for real time life like images, especially for technical work will be required and this will take vastly more computer, memory and communications power than we have currently, fueling semiconductor demand at all levels. Only by spreading the cost across the as much of the economy as possible is the only way an economy can advance technologies across a broad spectrum to reduce the cost to individual companies and users. This will be the next great technological wave that has been underway for years but with the latest communications is about to take off for the companies and people of vision will make happen and profit for the economy and themselves for the benefits that massive scale and efficiencies that this trend can bring. Any thoughts, comments or additions sought and welcomed.
