This is just one more step towards bionic bodies. It's only a matter of time before much of our electronics, health monitoring and body function control systems become part of us on a permanent or temporary basis. When you add in harvesting power from blood or body movement you have a whole new world. The scary part is control systems for the brain and monitoring systems if the control of them falls into the wrong hands or hackers with bad intentions.
