The news is radio on chip. Sub-GHz radios are simple and operate in unlicensed, short range applications in a variety of geographic markets. They are ideal for needs such as garage door openers and other point-to-point control uses. The EZR32LG and EZR32WG come in a 9x9mm, 64-pin QFN package. The EZR32LG starts at $2.71, and the EZR32WG starts at $2.98 in 10K quantities, both with immediate availability.
