Semis market grossly under estimated

A few in the industy are saying the semi industry capacity supply will lead to tighter margins and they will for companies that don't leverage their IP. Mems, display, IoT, LED lighting (with IoT or built in functionality) and there are numerous uses of semi technology already on the horizon. It has just been recently that the Mems revolution is branching out into autos, medical, labs on a chip and many other areas. Just the lab on chip (LOC) is about to undergo a huge expansion with the programable lab on chip (PLOC). The lab on a chip and programable lab on a chip will cause a revolution as large as the mobile revolution as labs come down in size from rooms to cell phone to a USB plug in and even smaller. Being able to measure and test the world and processes continuously and in real time inexpensively on a large scale will not only create huge new markets, but advance our increase in knowledge of everything on a geometric scale. This ina turn will create even more new markets creating a snow ball effect.

Another revolution will occur with the semi industry leveraging doping, manipulation, combining and forming materials in ways not even dreamed of in conventional industry. This isn't a maybe, it has already taken place in many areas and is still in a very early fledgling state. Soon we see this area hit critical mass and snow ball from there.

When these and many other advances in the semi industry is making the opportunities are literally limitless. To really make this happen will require new methods and education that will extend to every other area of the world we live in. We are going to see science fiction become science reality. If you think our world is moving fast now, you haven't seen anything yet. We will see this technology extend to areas like farming even in the third world like we now see cell phones every where. The only limits we have are the ones we place on ourselves.
