This is just one example of a government that doesn't keep up with the rapid advances that the semi industry is the foundation of. Semis have become the foundation of the most disruptive wave ever to hit mankind and we have seen just the tip of the beginning for AI and Robotics will change all the rules from the smallest functions and processes to society at large through social media and structures that will eventually overpower the influence of governments when they become not only social structures, but financial structures. It's a "Brave New World" as the "Great Acceleration" takes hold.
