Now you know why Tanner EDA has 1,200+ active customers, great marketing. Tanner is also the only EDA company I know of that does FREE 30 day Evaluation Trial Software . That speaks volumes about the quality and ease of use of Tanner software.

I had lunch with some AMS EDA guys yesterday and we chatted about the Synopsys SpringSoft acquisition and who it would benefit. Hands down is was Tanner EDA versus Synopsys or Cadence. Without the Magma AMS tools and now with Laker being either killed or integrated into the Synopsys AMS tools, Tanner EDA is the last low cost complete AMS tool set. It will be interesting to see if Tanner EDA hits 1,500 active customers in 2013. I would bet yes.

That marketing could really work effectively, let's see.

I do recall that ModelSim also used to do a Buy 1 Get 1 Free deal for their VHDL Simulator when bought online for a limited time period.
