The greatest opportunity for tech sector is US medical with its staggering cost and low quality that literally is the greatest threat to our nation with our aging population depending on Medicare and much of the population depending on government funded care and companies of all types bleeding from increasingly untenable medical costs. Real time transparency is perhaps one of the greatest tools the tech sector has created and applied to almost any challenge. Real time transparency is becoming the ultimate tool to use in almost everything we touch and the tech sector and especially the semi sector are making this possible. The semi sector itself has made use of real time transparency and use of information internally to create a knowledge and its application machine of unrivaled creativity and power. It has enabled collaboration and creativity on a scale of previously unimaginable scope and size improving at an ever accelerating rate. It's time for the semi/tech sector to take not only their products to the rest of the world, but their processes. No other firm I know of has mastered this to the degree of TSM and I feel this could be a whole new product line for them. US medical would be the place to start for there is literally a trillion dollar opportunity world wide. TSM has not only created the leading fab, but an amazing business process as amazing as the semis they produce. Even the most efficient medical systems still have great room for improvement and could benefit from the speed and efficiencies that the semi/nanotech sector have taken to an art form. This is literally a chance to people in the sector to become true heroes offering more benefit to mankind than any other professions. Saving the US, from its gravest threat, would be of tremendous benefit to the world as a whole. The Constitution and Bill of Rights are the greatest documents ever written in terms of benefit to the world and eliminating what is perhaps the greatest threat to this country could set an example that could be applied to almost everything, everywhere.

Focus Needed Not Just On Drugs But Hospital Expenses To Impact Healthcare Costs
Despite the fact that hospital costs are the biggest part of our health care system and that such costs are growing more rapidly than other health care segments, politicians find it easier to go after biopharma companies.
