There are two interesting parts of this report (if it's true):
1. The potential Samsung/Facebook foundry deal was announced by South Korea President office, not by Samsung or Facebook.
2. Mark Zuckerberg has joined Intel CEO Pat Gelsinger to publicly accuse TSMC is not a reliable partner/supplier because the geopolitics.

How much Silicon is Meta buying per year? roughly?
Buying? Not sure, but given Samsung’s yields, about 5 times as many wafers will be fabricated vs TSMC.
How much Silicon is Meta buying per year? roughly?
Because Meta/Facebook doesn't do cloud hosting services, I think the volume will be much smaller than Microsoft, Amazon, or Google.
