Major Tech Companies Unite on AI

This joining of the major powers of tech joining together on AI should greatly advance the technology and its widespread adoption. For the first time, man may soon not be the smartest on the planet. It's going to an interesting world if our machines become smarter than us. Hopefully we will harness them, instead of them harnessing us. This is going to be the most interesting experiment in the history of mankind with no telling where it will take us and how.

One can trust only people or organizations that have earned it from you. Also, trust is a matter of relativity, think about it.

???

To me Facebook's and Google's business model is in conflict with my privacy requirements. I don't see how an action from me can change that.

Staf, I don't use Facebook at all. There is no real privacy with cookies, but there is no need to post everything on social sites. Google we use voluntarily and give up information for information. If there is no product on a site, you are the product and each of us makes a personal trade off.
