Did anyone know that Intel is using UMC to manufacture their Mobile chips?
I just saw it now mentioned in their financial statements.

Intel has been a TSMC customer for years. Some of the designs came from Intel acquisitions (SoFIA) but others were internal Intel chips. In fact Intel and TSMC launched the first Atom initiative together in 2009 which failed miserably. Some of those design have probably been moved to UMC since UMC is "T" compatible. I'm pretty sure SoFIA is still manufactured at TSMC.
