Intel to buy Centaur from VIA

One comment on this video is that Intel may be building its team with those people who know x86 and foundry, which Centaur does have.

VIA Centaur has no license it expired at the turn of this year and was hanging in limbo for some time before that. Not a bad business, get paid to develop x86 instructions on unique hardware blocks and cross license to Intel in exchange for not using them. Pays for Glenn's processor design school. This is simply more of the same. Seems there a question who receives the $125 million. Mr. Chen and the VIA employees retire? On an Intel DEC Semi and IBM GoFlo similar payment package?

Via bought Centaur from IDT and did not much with Centaur but pay the enterprise costs of operation, for decades, on Centaur not wanting too compete on Glenn's prerogative although there appear some shady CIA or Secret Service stalls? Glenn not wanting to compete with Intel on the consequences of retaliation explained to me as an employee about to get the boot. Mr. CJ Holthaus of Centaur has always worked for whoooo? Glenn extorting a helping hand to fund his processor design school from Intel? Too keep x86 IP out of the hands of foreign rivals, well, they're both in that rot ridden boat.
