The link below is a graph of the top ten AI technologies and their progress. This give a good road map of where AI and the semis/sensors/mems to support it will lead, since the hardware has to come first. Just like semis/nanotechnology have become omnipresent in almost every corner of our lives, AI will soon spread in the same fashion, but with far more dramatic impact. Never before in history has a machine had the ability to out think a man. It will be a dawn of a future we do not know when this happens.
