Fun (?) video on what happens when a Li-ion battery punctures

OK - so you're not planning on driving a nail into your iPhone/Galaxy/.. But still interesting to see how these things respond to punctures, since Li-ion batteries are widely used and pricing pressures are causing some manufacturers to cut corners. The link starts with cheap knockoff hoverboards bursting into flames, but the intro to the video points out that puncture risks apply to all Li-ion batteries, not just the cheap ones.

Then there's the very popular hover board with a lithium ion battery catching fire too. Over the years we've seen videos of many consumer products catching fire: Sony laptop, Boeing 787, iPhone
