Building and Applying AI Ecosystems? Who Leads? Critical Mass When?

With Nvidia and AMD being the two leaders in AI, the question is what companies will build the best ecosystems to apply AI/ML to the real world? If handled properly, AI/ML should feed on themselves to progress as they are used in greater depth and breadth across different economies. Where do the readers think what the AI/ML ecosystem will look like as it penetrates literally every aspect of our societies from science, technology, and is applied to almost every aspect of our lives from education to business to everyday life and even governance and social structures? Will there be a dominant company like IBM in the early days of computers or a highly fractionated system in a type of free for all. AI/ML will automate and speed up progress dramatically for those that master it and leave many that don't behind by compounding on itself like a nuclear reaction. How long to the readers think before AI/ML reach a critical mass that changes literally everything? Any thoughts, comments or observations, discussions sought and welcome. As one who participates in the financial markets, I see this as the ultimate game changer.
