The automation of everything is coming and increasing in speed by feeding on itself. The dock worker's strike won't stop or even slow down the drive to the automation of everything. It will be fought by everyone from dock worker, doctors, dentists, engineers and everyone else. There is not a field or endeavor that cannot benefit substantially by automation driven by AI/ML. The latest systems will actually learn and improve upon themselves as they are used and build their own databases without human intervention. When the automation systems driven by AI/ML to learn and improve on their own is already under way and will only pick up speed. The choices we have are either work with it and apply it constantly for constant improvement. Learning to embrace and aid constant improvement are the skill sets of the future. Compounding is the most powerful force and when AI/ML compound on themselves as these models learn more, the power and application of these AI/ML models will follow at an ever increasing rate. Any thoughts, improvements or additions sought and welcome.
