WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The United Arab Emirates has committed to a 10-year, $1.4 trillion investment framework in the United States after top UAE officials met President Donald Trump this week, a White House official said on Friday.

The new framework will "substantially increase the UAE’s existing investments in the U.S. economy" in AI infrastructure, semiconductors, energy, and American manufacturing, the official told Reuters.

1.4 trillion USD is more than all of Abu Dhabi's total sovereign investment funds combined, nor the king will allow his brother to steer anywhere near that amount, so...

As of the most recent estimates, the combined value of Abu Dhabi's sovereign wealth funds is approximately $1.7T.

Besides, the $1.4T is over 10 years, so ~$140B per year.
