We extend a special welcome to all Magma customers
As we announced on February 22, 2012, Magma Design Automation is now part of Synopsys, and we’d like to take this opportunity to extend a special welcome to all Magma customers.
The addition of Magma’s technology, products and talented team will enable us to accelerate the delivery of the advanced tools needed to meet the ever-increasing technological challenges customers face in designing today’s SoCs. Our customers will also benefit with access to a larger worldwide technical support team.
We place the highest value on not disrupting our customers’ ongoing design projects, whether you are using Synopsys or Magma software. All contracts in effect are expected to remain in full force, and we intend to support both companies’ product lines. Over the next 90 days, we will be developing product roadmaps that will reflect the combined capabilities of both companies, and we welcome your perspectives on how we can best serve our customers.
The success of your projects is very important to us. We appreciate your commitment to Magma and Synopsys. We are working as quickly as possible to integrate the two organizations while ensuring uninterrupted support. For Magma products, please continue to use the Molton customer support portal.
One of the benefits of being a Synopsys customer is access to the Synopsys Users Group (SNUG) which brings together a global design community focused on innovation. The 2011 SNUG program was held in 13 locations worldwide, included more than 250 user papers, and was attended by more than 9,000 customers. The 2012 SNUG program, representing the 22[SUP]nd[/SUP] annual program, kicks off in Silicon Valley on March 26[SUP]th[/SUP] at the Santa Clara Convention Center. To learn more about the program, and about upcoming SNUG conferences worldwide, please visit the SNUG website.
Again, we welcome you to the Synopsys user community and we hope you enjoy this issue of Insight, Synopsys’ quarterly technology bulletin for design engineers and management. If you have any suggestions for upcoming topics, or any comments, please email us at insight@synopsys.com.
