Dr. Robert N. Castellano, president of The Information Network, received a Ph.D. degree in solid state chemistry from Oxford University (England) under Dr. John Goodenough, inventor of the lithium ion battery and 2019 Nobel Prize winner in Chemistry. He has had experience in the field of wafer fabrication at

AT&T Bell Laboratories and Stanford University.

Dr. Castellano has authored numerous reports for other publishing companies before founding The Information Network in 1985. He has also been editor of the peer-reviewed Journal of Active and Passive Electronic Devices since 1985. He has nearly 25 years of expertise as an industry analyst. He is author of the book Technology Trends in VLSI Manufacturing published in 1993 by Gordon and Breach. His other books, Solar Panel Processing and Alternative Energy Technology, were published in 2009 and 2011 respectively, by Old City Publishing. He is also a major contributor to TheStreet.com and SeekingAlpha.com

Also in the solar area, he is CEO of SolarPA, which uses a proprietary nanomaterial to coat solar cells, increasing the efficiency by up to 10%
