Summary of Role:

GlobalFoundries is looking to hire a Process Technician to support the Post Fab test facility across a variety of equipment and state of the art Digital Foundry products. The primary responsibility of continually improving manufacturing efficiency and resolving issues throughout their execution. Managing Post Fab Shipping process for test development hardware and Digital Foundry products.

Essential Responsibilities Include:

• Management of Post Fab Shipping process for development hardware and products
• Drive projects to optimize the production flow, reduce cost & flow inhibitors
• Monitor KPI (key performance indicator) and solve issues on the production floor
• Ensure “Manufacturing Readiness” for new products as they enter volume ramp phase
• Support and improve manufacturing processes for leading edge products
• Collaborate with Equipment Engineering and Test Development Engineering teams
• Perform structured problem solving and root-cause analysis on quality incident
• Provide technical guidance and complete documentation/communication on Projects

Other Responsibilities:

• Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs

Required Qualifications:

• Education – Associates Degree, or equivalent with knowledge of semiconductor fundamentals
• Experience – at least 6 years of experience
• Travel <5% of travel required
• Fluency in English – Written & Verbal

Preferred Qualifications:

• Data mining and analytical skills
• Lean tools skills to remove waste, standardize, and sustain improvements
• Knowledge of Semiconductor processes
• General “Shipping & Handling” experience (NSSR).
• Team player with positive attitude
• Strong communications skills
