Job Description

• Wireless Communication Solution (Application) Engineer for 4G, 5G solution building and support.
• Mobile protocol support for mobile manufacturer and related customers.
• Integration, Verification, and validation of protocol test scripts for 5G wireless communications and following up with the R&D team
• Collect test equipment logs and devices logs for troubleshooting of detected issues in the R&D stage and during collaboration sessions.
• Use JIRA to properly report, track and follow-up on the issues
• Debug 3GPP 4G, 5G protocol issues, analyze logs and work with Keysight internal teams to resolve the issues and verify the fixes
• Test and Debug the full suite of Keysight products from the developer’s tool set to the conformance and Inter-operability products
• Delivers technical expertise for solution implementation to customer based on Keysight products and services. Focuses mostly on the pre-sales process.
• Assists the field organization to meet or exceed sales quota, through the provision of technical expertise. May be client or product oriented.
• Contributes to sales account planning. Participates actively in the sales process from deal qualification to deal closure. Owns the deal’s technical closure.
• Is knowledgeable of competition and able to identify lockout specification (identify Keysight’s competitive advantage over competition).
• Analyzes customer requirements and recommends appropriate solution. Is responsible for demos and for enhancing customers’ experience and satisfaction.
• Acts as the customer voice to influence future product design that meets customer needs. May also contribute to post-sales activities. Carries overlay quota.
• Reduces broad concepts, business strategies into structured projects
• Leads the design / delivery of integrated multiple technologies solutions; is the key contributor of technical expertise and business/ industry knowledge
• Solves complex, high impact system and solution engineering services problems

Job Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters Degree or University Degree or equivalent.
• Typically 8+ years relevant experience for entry to this level.
• Experience of working on multiple activities simultaneously
• Experience of working in multi-country teams will be an advantage
• Strong Understanding of the technical stands and signaling protocols in the 4G/5G EPC,SA Core, UTRAN,NR
• Fluent in English to communicate with inter-region teams
• Postgraduate and/or certification/ license may be required.
• 5G physical layer understanding and operation of Wireless service
• Instrument programming skill (C#, Python, etc.) preferred.
• coding skill / linux operation / understanding of L4-7 preferred
