Keysight Technologies is a leading supplier of Electronic Design Automation (EDA) software for communications product design. Keysight PathWave Software Solution (PSS) provides advanced device modeling tools and circuit design tools for semiconductor manufacturers, chip designers, and R&D integrators to help them efficiently extract device models and DC / RF / Microwave circuits, wireless communication systems, and high-speed digital transmission design.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will work with multiple teams to incorporate the latest quantum measurement and analysis ideas into existing EDA solutions. Include but are not limited to:

  • Creating compelling examples of superconducting qubits/trapped ions then extending the workflow in-circuit sim and RFPro to include this technology.
  • Creating a standard PDK with layout, components, and models for quantum foundries such as superconducting and trapped ion.
  • Translating from the EDA domain into and out of Hamiltonian representations.
  • E.M. (Electro-Magnetic) technology enhancements

Job Qualifications

Ideal candidates for this position would possess the following attributes:

  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or equivalent.
  • 8+ years of software development experience, proficient in C++ and Python programming.
  • Solid experience and knowledge in Quantum Engineering and design.
  • Experience with EDA modeling of E.M. or Circuits
  • Growth Mindset
  • Strong communication skills
  • A result-driven, self-motivator able to follow the Agile software development process
  • Ability to work with multiple teams to deliver results

Desired skills:

  • Understanding of SPICE simulator and Netlists
  • Knowledge or experience in Device Modeling is a plus
