Summary of Role:

GlobalFoundries turnkey quality team, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated quality system engineer (QSE). This position will be in charge of driving the team to develop process compliant to IATF16949, AIAG, ISO 9001 standards. The QSE will also oversee supporting customer and internal audit driving process level continuous improvement plan and ensure process control. The QSE will oversee developing the automotive mindset.

Essential Responsibilities Include:

  • Represent GlobalFoundries for customer audit.
  • Assisting in the development of audit plans and schedules.
  • Support process development in compliance to automotive standard
  • Drive continuous improvement plan one turnkey process.
  • Lead internal audit within Turnkey
  • Writing audit reports and verifying the effectiveness of corrective actions.
  • Compiling and reviewing audit output data to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Support supplier audit toward automotive standards.
  • Create a collaborative team environment, revolving conflicts to ensure goals are met
  • Define, track and report key QMS KPI’s to fab management
  • Support development of automotive culture within GF – Help to define supplier audit requirement
  • Drive Lessons learned activity within GF
  • Define PPAP plan and compile PPAP document
  • Support turnkey NPI process

Other Responsibilities:

  • Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline with 5 years of related experience in quality, Audit, Supplier quality in automotive environment
  • Travel: 10-20%
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Fluency in English Language – written & verbal
  • Data analysis skills
  • Reliability methods and quality sampling methodologies (AIAG, IATF, VDA)
