Your Role:

The Project Coordinator Assistant will be a representative supporting coordinating activities with customer engineering representatives, equipment technicians, OEM representatives, project coordinators and site contractors in their assigned operational discipline. The Project Coordinator Assistant will report directly to the Maintenance Manager and will work directly with the customer on daily activities & project assignments.

The Project Coordinator Assistant will be expected to support the Project Coordinator with project management skills, as well as an understanding of mechanical, electrical, fluid controls, and pneumatic systems to provide technical support towards system design and modification, and various continuous improvement activities. Other responsibilities of the Project Coordinator Assistant include, but are not limited to, identifying potential failure points of existing equipment, performing safety assessments, and using system data and quantitative information to develop improvement projects to manage the quality of the onsite delivery equipment. The Project Coordinator assistant will ensure the following tasks are completed:

  • Line sizing and flow
  • Correct materials scoped, such as raw materials, valves, reducers, fittings
  • Field equipment is in place to support new gas lines and recommend additional equipment support required for tool sets
  • Facilitate and coordinate LSS testing with Fire Marshall
  • Monitor and track contractor facilitation up until Safety Level 1/2 process is completed
  • Coordinate line ringing activities for new distribution systems
  • Procedure review/development to ensure mechanical integrity criteria in in compliance of customer specs for all new equipment

Administrative duties include, but are not limited to, the development of Gantt charts or equivalent project schedules, statistical data analysis, daily customer meetings, nonconformance reporting, and preparing customer presentations.

Who you are:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 5+ years Industrial or manufacturing experience
  • 2+ years of project lead experience
  • 3+ years of team leader experience

 Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any Technical discipline (Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology)
  • Project engineer or Project Planner
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite
  • Experience with gas and/or chemical delivery systems in ultra-high purity operation
  • Strong technical aptitude
  • Excellent communication skills
