This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As a Manufacturing Technician, you will be responsible for:

  • Electromechanical alignments and Chemistry testing on blood analyzers and clinical chemistry medical devices.
  • Inspecting, analyzing, and troubleshooting semi-complex electromechanical and lab test irregularities and failures.
  • Identifying need for process changes as well as makes recommendations as part of continuous process improvements.
  • Learning new instruments and/or processes and supports site implementation.
  • Working consistently to meet quality standards and c-Good Manufacturing Practices.
  • Providing technical assistance to support staff
  • Training Junior and/or new employees
  • Interacting and establishing strong working relationships with all levels of the production team and GIM Support staff

  • Adequate understanding for Lean Manufacturing and Supply Chain
  • Experience with SAP
  • Good Manufacturing and Lab Practices (GMP and GLP)
  • Ability to work in highly dynamic/agile work environment with competing priorities and timelines
  • Flexible and adaptable to change

Required skills to have for the success of this role

  • Technical education, Associates, Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 1 year of technical experience
  • Efficient technical troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with torque tools, Multimeters/Voltmeters, weighing balance
  • Computer literacy and adequate PC skills (MS Office software like Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams and Outlook)
  • Effective communicator and a team player
