Summary of Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a recent College Graduate. We are looking for a Process Engineer to support the Diffusion Engineering Epitaxy Department for our 300mm semiconductor manufacturing facility.

Essential Responsibilities Include:

• Monitor, control, and qualify state of the art 300mm semiconductor equipment epitaxial growth reactors
• Maintain process quality by reviewing statistical process control charts and reacting to out of control conditions
• Identify and address potential areas for improvement and optimize tool availability, cycle time, utilization and cost
• Trained on and exercises job related business processes such as engineering change notices, manufacturing execution system operation, recipe management systems, engineering work requests, change review boards, and work instructions
• Implements agreed-to deployment actions and qualifications as needed
• Supports and executes actions to improve process related line and chip yield
• Supports process development for new technology offerings
• Familiar with available analytics tools and data
• Strong team member, able to work well with a global team, train new team members as needed and other duties as assigned

• Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs

Required Qualifications:

• Education:  Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Engineering, Semiconductor Manufacturing or a related discipline.
• Experience:  0-2 years of relevant experience
• Must be able to work in a cleanroom environment
• Must be able to work per semiconductor industry and GlobalFoundries protocol/requirements, wearing all required clean room protective clothing and equipment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Education:  Master’s Technical Degree in Science, Engineering, Semiconductor Manufacturing or a related discipline.
• Experience:  1-3 years of experience with epitaxial growth reactor process engineering
• Experience with Applied Materials and/or ASM epitaxy platforms
• Fluency in English Language – written & verbal
