TSMC's experience with Taiwan's seismic activity clearly paid off here in Kumamoto. The seismic isolation systems in modern fabs are engineered precisely for this, but the speed at which their field engineers and vendor partners (ASML, TEL, etc.) completed the re-qualification in less than a week is a solid testament to their supply chain resilience.
