Tomorrow is the ITF in San Francisco. Scot Jones and I will covering it live for SemiWiki. It would be a pleasure to meet you if you are near the Marriott in San Francisco (near Moscone):

ITF USA is a part of imec’s worldwide ITF events, a half-day conference in conjunction with Semicon West and supported by SEMI.

This year’s theme will be Towards the Ultimate System. We take a look at an emerging trend: the quest for the ultimate application and system that is no longer solely driven by technology scaling, but by a careful co-optimization of technology blocks and the requirements of new systems.

At ITF USA, you’ll get an insider’s view on where this trend headed and what will be needed to make it a success. Together with our highly-acclaimed speakers, we will look at the co-optimization of design and technology. What are the requirements of emerging systems? And how can technology deliver the right building blocks to build these systems?

Meet your peers at ITF USA, organized in conjunction with Semicon West and supported by SEMI, for an interesting discussion on the future of our industry.

Good presentations today, especially the EUV one from ASML. Judging from the wording and the body language EUV will be ready for HVM just about NEVER! More to come when copies of the presentation go live.
