Can the Tech sector save the US from medical costs?

Arthur Hanson

Well-known member
US medical has the highest costs of any modern country combined with some of the lowest quality. The question is can the US tech sector offer solutions to the high costs and low quality of US medical or is the medical industry so entrenched only the economic collapse of the US be enough to reform an industry that runs up our debt and may collapse the country. The additional costs medical imposes on the rest of the economy has driven up our debt to dangerous levels. How much of medical could be automated to bring quality up and costs down? Just medical costs alone make many US products to expensive to compete in the world economy and this will only get worse as the population ages. Any thoughts or comments appreciated.
