Samsung just posted a news release.

"Due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, we have decided to temporarily adjust operations at our manufacturing facilities in Xi’an, China."

I don't know why Samsung made this announcement so ambiguous. They can just say something out loud if there's nothing to worry about. Or they can say they are monitoring the situation and will give update next week.

Samsung Xian fabs provide about 40%+ of Samsung NAND production capacity.

Before this Samsung announcement about their Xian operations, the previous Samsung's announcement was made on October 18, 2019. It's interesting to see how rarely they use this communication method.

Samsung, Micron warn China's Xian lockdown could affect memory chip manufacturing

Is it going to cause another supply chain disruption?
