"Chris Camacho, chief executive of the Greater Phoenix Economic Council that signed the agreement Tuesday, said his group is working to co-locate as many TSMC suppliers and other associated companies to the area as possible. He said about 40 companies are currently evaluating Arizona for possible investment, but declined to name them due to confidentiality agreements."

One manufacturer can bring up to 40 companies with it. That's job and money going into the local communities. I don't want to get political but 40 years of outsourcing to China sacked American manufacturing. All we have left are retail services that don't pay much and bad for American.(Amazon driver piss in the bottle to make the delivery time) the ecosystem around retail service is less than manufacturing. You don't need 40 companies to ship and warehouse.

40 years of outsourcing to China have propelled China into the number 2 economy in the world and some projected that it will overtake US in the near future. China ship laptop, smartphone...etc. while American export soybean.

I was sceptical about the Arizona news originally because they would've had to fly a lot of consumables from Asia, as Intel does.
