Tesla, Semis Good Friend

Tesla is a very good friend to the semi sector, not only driving technology, but broadening the entire ecosystem. Tesla uses large amounts of semis for its size, which is only getting larger every day. It uses semis in its highly automated manufacturing, the car itself, the charging network and the entire ecosystems including entertainment. Self driving, autonomous navigation (just tell the car where you want to go in the near future) and the data centers and communications network. Tesla is truly demonstrating the value of leading edge semiconductors in mission critical applications. I see semis playing a key part all Tesla's projects in a manner more advanced than almost any other company. Space, power distribution, solar, power management, autonomous everything, entire ecosystems of many types, Tesla is a true friend and promoter of the semi and tech industries at all levels. It will be interesting to see how many ecosystems and markets Tesla will have an impact on. As we have already seen in electric cars and soon trucks, the incumbents will be either forced to keep up or surrender a good piece of their markets. Tesla is already set to dominate space launches.
