Notes:
1. Toshiba spun off memory division to become Kioxia (with other partners) but still owns Kaga Toshiba Electronics for making semiconductor products. It's not clear the amount of revenue for Kaga Toshiba.

2. Kioxia Holdings Corporation postponed their IPO on September 28, 2021 and no future date was announced. That means there is no earnings data available for the privately held Kioxia.

3. Western Digital sells storage (HDD, SSD, and NVMe), SD cards, and USB flash drives. Although they all use various kinds of memory, I probably won't count Western Digital as a semiconductor company.

Looking at the earnings data released so far, Intel is at odds with all publicly traded semiconductor companies globally.

Intel's leadership team and board of directors must be in a panic mode right now, or not?

Thank you for your comment. I'm thinking if there's a need to put a minimum revenue threshold in order to create this list? Although new emerging yet small companies may have some interesting or game changer products .

Naah, they will be OK. With $50B from US and another tens of billions of € from EU and individual coutries...

I was thinking the same thing. Not sure what that threshold should be.... I'm not that familiar with SiTime or SkyWater but the rest of the companies I listed have all been around for 20 years.

A couple of other pointers:

- Bosch just opened a new 300mm fab in Dresden; do they split out their semiconductor revenue in their report?
- Littelfuse owns IXYS and Zilog; I wonder if they split out their semiconductor revenue
- Semikron should count (power semiconductors), but it looks like it's private.

Naah, they will be OK. With $50B from US and another tens of billions of € from EU and individual coutries...
Indeed Intel may wish to receive such huge amount of subsidies. But it doesn't resolve the structural problems in their product offerings.

From the Q1 revenue growth list, all semiconductor companies, except Intel and two other companies, can grow their business across all segments and technologies.

Intel just doesn't have right products that the market needs or wants.

This is double-edged sword if they manage to resolve their internal issues then yeah Intel will be fine for a long time. If not then AMD and Nvidia will easily catch up with Intel in matter of few years.

@Yaakov,

Thank you for your comments. As stated in my list, I excluded the equipment and materials companies at this moment to control the scope. I am thinking to add more data such as current quarter guidance, quarter over quarter sequential growth rate, and net profit margin. The only limitation or challenge is my time.

In terms of Nova Ltd. (NVMI, 2021 revenue $410 million) and Camtek Ltd.(CAMT, 2021 revenue $270 million) are relatively two small companies. Can you elaborate it a little bit about their uniqueness? Thanks.
