Morris Chang mastered cultural integrity, TSM wins

Integrity is the foundation of success and the faster a company moves, as tech companies are among the fastest, integrity becomes ever more important as the speed of change picks up. If integrity is built into a corporate culture, constant checks at every level aren't required and a much faster cadence can be maintained. This has to be built into the corporate culture, both within and with customers. A culture of integrity can move at a speed far higher than those lacking it or not having it built into their culture at every step. When running projects I established a firm rule that if there is a challenge, problem, or mistake, bring it to me ASAP to deal with it as quickly as possible, so it could be dealt with as constructively possible. Never have people fear a mistake for then they will never grow, make it a learning experience for both parties and the organization will grow and prosper. This made for much faster, earlier solutions before any real harm or damage had been done. Morris Chang mastered this on a scale few have ever done and this is a linchpin of the success of TSM.
