Since we rolled out the new Profile Management system a couple of months ago, we’ve been steadily adding features. Here are some of the newest features that have been added to simplify your life across Samtec.com.
When adding or editing a new address, you can now choose between several options, including Billing, Dropship, Home and My Company Shipping.
This feature will be used to simplify the checkout experience in an upcoming redesign of the Checkout. Users will be able to use the addresses stored in the profile to easily choose Shipping and Billing options online. Look for this update sometime in 2022.
By request, we’ve also added additional visibility on the Address home screen for all of the fields to show up, instead of just the top few. This makes it easier to differentiate between addresses that may be very similar.
New addresses used in the checkout will also now be saved in this Address profile area, making it easy to edit those addresses as needed, or use them with a future order.
We’ve also rolled out a significant upgrade to our profile registration process, completely rewriting the software that handles it, upgrading the user interface, and speeding up the process along the way. Users will now be able to register for online accounts much easier and faster on Samtec.com.
