Metalenses to Advance Chip Fabrication

A type of lens designed to focus light and beams into a pattern instead of a point look to radically change chip fabrication. Thoughts, comments on possible implementation and the possible time line for this would be appreciated. It will be interesting to see if we might see a MEMS lens that is capable of being programed or controlled in a manner that changes can be made on the fly.

This is but one more aspect of the "Great Acceleration" with totally new methods being developed at an accelerating rate in almost every field. Just wait until AI/ML become wide spread, we will have totally change our concept of how we relate to the world we live in.
