Intel samples Crow Pass: 3rd Generation Optane

It's probably surprising to many that Optane is still around, but apparently it's not dead yet. Presumably, it's being made at Rio Rancho.

Intel might be building 3rd generation Optane Persistent Memory using existing memory modules in its stock, not from Rio Rancho.

The question is what Intel plans to do with the Optane product lines in the memory and SSD.
